APL is an Award-Winning Library!
Our City Librarian, Audrey Lujan, accepted two prestigious awards at the annual California Library Association
conference this winter. The California Library Association PRExcellence Award Committee selects the entries that exemplify the highest quality library programs and marketing materials among California Libraries.
Anaheim Public Library won two awards:
In the ‘Event’ category for our Youth Art Series. Funded by a grant from the Anaheim Arts Council, this program introduced 75 of our young patrons to a variety of 2-dimensional art techniques. A Gallery Showing of the students’ artwork was held during the final week of the program.
In the ‘Electronic’ category for our APL eNewsletter, Library News. The newsletter is available on the library website and is emailed each month to registered library patrons. Sign up online so you’ll always know what is going on at your library.
