Conditions needed in Alicante area to obtain retrospective licences / antiquity certificates for extensions or pools
The necessary requirements to obtain a Retrospective Licence for any extension or pools in Alicante area are as follows:
- The extension or pool needs to be over 4 years old, before the 20th August of 2014 (minimum 4½ years). - The extension or pool hasn’t already received any fine. - The property has Title Deeds and Owner’s NIE.
By having a Retrospective Licence /Antiquity Certificate you make the building works unobjectable and it is highly recommended to obtain this licence to avoid putting off potential buyers, due to the existence of undeclared buildings.
If you want to have your Retrospective Licence / Antiquity Certificate for your extension or pool now (possible TODAY in accordance to present laws), and protect against possible future changes in the laws that may effect you, Martinez de la Casa Architects will arrange an appointment to survey the pool /extension requiring only your NIE and current Title Deeds. Using satellite images and software we check the age of the pool/extension and combine this with the measurements and documentation taken during our on-site visit. The Antiquity Certificate / Restrospective Licence is stamped by the Official College of Architects and delivered within 7-10 days.
