QF Focus Magazine
will be holding their next meeting at 11am on Monday 2nd March in the Municipal Centre in Ciudad Quesada. This will also be their Annual
Neighbourhood Watch Group
General Meeting at which will be discussed proposals for the continuation of the Group and appointment of new officers. It is hoped that the new Chief of the Local Police will be coming and also a Social Worker from Casa Verde will be telling us about the Day Care facilities available in Rojales. Anyone living in the 03170 postal area will be most welcome to come to the meeting. On Saturday 28th February from 10am to 2pm Samaritans in Spain will be celebrating its second birthday at its charity shop in Punta Prima Commercial Centre. There will be various stalls including homemade cakes and produce, tombola, card reading and many more. The shop and drop in centre will be open as usual. Events such as this are very important, not only to raise awareness, but to fund the free, completely confidential, emotional support service. The Helpline is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year by calling 902 88 35 35.
