NEW BUYING AGENCY OPENS
Private Property Search (PPS), the independent buying agency service of Strutt & Parker, is to open a London office.
PPS has recruited Property Vision veteran James Geddes to head the operation. The new office will officially be opened in May although James is already busy acting on behalf of PPS clients in central London. Private Property
Search was launched four years ago as a totally independent arm of Strutt & Parker. Initially concentrating on the south eastern counties PPS has grown substantially to cover southern England. Says Head of
PPS, Ian
Hepburn, “Many of our clients either own central London property or wish to acquire it. We felt it was the next logical step, to meet our clients’ needs, that we have a central London presence”. “We are delighted to have been able to recruit James who has 12 years experience in the acquisition of central London property and an exceptional understanding of international clients.” James Geddes adds, “I am thrilled to have been given the opportunity of developing the PPS offering into London and intend to position our service to
become one of the pre-eminent buying
businesses in the UK.”

Paul Collins and his team at Belvoir Lincoln have recently celebrated their 15th birthday. Launched in December 1996, Belvoir Lincoln has gone from strength-to-strength, looking after numerous properties throughout the town and surrounding areas. “The business has grown enormously over the 15 years,” says Paul. “We started with nothing and we now manage 600 properties, plus 310 rooms as part of the Student Living Brand. From a lone start we now have 13 in the team.” Paul says that the secret of his success lies in his committed team who always work with honesty and integrity, “I would not have
achieved this success without a dedicated team,” he says. “Over the years Belvoir Lincoln has won quite a few awards, including Belvoir’s Biggest Turnover and Group Contribution Award,” says Paul. Belvoir MD Dorian Gonsalves said, “Paul is a major contributor to the group and always willing to help other franchise owners. His fantastic efforts were recognised in 2009 when he became the only Belvoir franchise owner to win the Belvoir Lifetime Achievement Award and everyone within the group wishes Paul, his wife Sharon and the team at Belvoir Lincoln great success for the future.”
