New set of wheels for Nomads


Efforts by HomeLet employees have enabled Lincoln-based charity, The Nomad Trust, to buy a much-needed mini bus for its service users. HomeLet organised a number of


fundraising events and the new mini bus was collected in January by The Nomad Trust’s Group Service Manager, Brenda Shiels, along with members of HomeLet’s charity committee, from PC Coaches, Lincoln and will now be used for the charity’s service for journeys such as to job interviews, as a vital component in

Sequence supports CLIC Sargent


Sequence UK has raised £13,849 for CLIC Sargent, a charity for children and young people with cancer and their families. Staff took part in fundraising events including gruelling challenges like triathlons, the Paris Marathon and 100-mile cycle rides, cake sales, Christmas events, raffl es and tombolas. Staff at Sheffi eld-based estate agents Haybrook raised almost £1,000 for children’s hospices pedalling non-stop for 24 hours on an exercise bike at their branch in Woodseats. A team of managers, negotiators and administrators took turns on the exercise bike in the offi ce on Chesterfi eld Road, one of fourteen Haybrook branches across Sheffi eld and South Yorkshire, starting at 11am on the Wednesday and fi nishing at 11am on the Thursday.
