July 4 - 13 Egerton Music Festival There are 10 days of music of all kinds, from classical to pop, as well as an exhibition by local artists and performances at the smallest venue of all, the Telephone Box on Stonebridge Green. The 2014 event brings together local, national, and international talent.

July 5 – August 31 Beatrix Potter Family Adventures Chartwell This summer step into the world of Beatrix Potter and discover what childhood was like in the grounds of Chartwell and Emmetts Garden. Join Peter Rabbit and friends at each property for different adventures and a trail around the gardens and woodlands. Normal admission charges apply.

July 11 - 13 Kent County Show, Detling The Kent County Show is the region's showcase event for farming, countryside and rural life. The show brings together the very best of Kent with animals, food and arena events throughout the three days.
July 12 Medway River Festival, Chatham Chatham Waterfront will be the place to be, where yachts and sailing vessels of every kind will meet for the Medway River Festival. Celebrate Medway's maritime connections with races, floating river processions, yacht displays, live music, food stalls, children's entertainment and more. 10am-4.30pm.
July 12 & 13 Wallace and Gromit Day Kent & East Sussex Railway, Tenterden Families can enjoy a steam train journey with the chance to see the popular TV characters Wallace & Gromit. Appearing alongside these well-known characters will be a vintage motorcycle and sidecar and, of course, the event wouldn’t be complete without a cheese maker so come and meet The Cheese Makers of Canterbury. An added attraction will be the chance to see the incredible
Supercar, which is a combined bus, tube car and train. The station will open at 10am each day, with eight steam trains running daily throughout the weekend.
