Reepham Festival got off the ground seven years ago and still remains a non profit making community event. So you can rock out knowing that just by merely attending you are helping other Norfolk folk. Tis year they have the totally legendary Big Country headlining on the Saturday, and 17 other bands and acts playing over three venues over the weekend. Rock, blues, folk, choral and beat boxing fans will all find something of interest, from top tribute band Mainly Madness to Hayley Moyses’ Bluegrass Forum, as well as Norwich’s own Big Sky Choir wrapping things up on the Sunday. Other local acts include Daisy Victoria, who’s also playing at Latitude this year, Dereham- based rockers Bad Touch, talented guitarist Buzby and beat boxer Differential. Tickets are at a bargain price too, so support your local community and snap one up today!

SHE DON’T USE JELLY 29-3 END OF THE ROAD FESTIVAL 1 AUGUST 2014 LARMER TREE GARDENS, SALSIBURY

If you’re a fan of trees or enjoy American indie music, End of the Road Festival will be right up your street. Tey have five music stages all set in lush woodland, a cinema tent curated by Ben Wheatly (out of spooky movie A Field in England, so that’ll be interesting), a healing retreat, art installations and seven bars as well as a woodland library. Perfect as far as I’m concerned. MOREOVER. Te bands and acts they have tempted into the woods with little morsels of bread are magnificent. I’m just gonna list ‘em, cos you will be impressed. Flaming Lips. John Grant. Wild Beasts. St Vincent. Te Horrors. Yo la Tengo. Stephen Malkmus & Te Jicks. Gruff Rhys. Tune-Yards. Lovely lovely. If you don’t arrive with a beard, you’re certain to end up with one. Even the ladies. I checked on Google Maps and it’s only a 4.5 hour drive from Norwich,so not too bad, and ticket prices are reasonable considering how much is on offer.
