wiser than we realized; we’re wakening to who we really are, which is far more than a physical body.

Human Potential Resides Within A 75-watt light bulb emits 75 watts of energy; all of its poten-
tial power is utilized. On the other hand, if humans could produce 100,000 watts of energy, the average human would only emit about 50,000 watts. Why? The reason is that most people are not aware of the other 50,000 watts of energy or potential that they have access to. In essence, they are living unconsciously—living in the dark, with full access to a light switch, but with no idea that the switch exists.
Raising consciousness means becoming aware of our full ener- getic potential and using it.
Why Raise Consciousness? When we raise our consciousness, we access our inner genius.
We recognize that everything we seek outside of ourselves can be found within. The truth reveals itself. Brilliant ideas emerge, inspira- tional ideas appear, and our visions become our reality. We connect to our purpose and live fearlessly. We utilize our guidance system, reduce stress, and experience joy. We live grounded with one foot in each world or aware of both the seen and unseen dimensions of this time-space reality. It is through this realization that we set ourselves free as we awaken to the truth that what is real cannot ever be lost. We live in an energetic world. Our thoughts, emotions, and ac- tions reside on certain frequencies, which attract experiences func- tioning at the same energetic level, like radio stations. Just as you cannot reach your favorite show on 88.1 FM if your radio dial is set to 100.5 FM, you cannot reach love if you are in fear. Love is con- nection, fear is disconnection. The majority of the population lives in a state of worry, fear, anger, or frustration, and glimpses states of non-judgment, peace, and love. Raising consciousness is learning how to dial-in to the station you want to hear and experience. Take a moment to refl ect on your current state. Are you living a
joyous, peaceful life or are you dialed into worry, doubt and fear? If you are not where you want to be, consider raising your conscious- ness.
Four Simple Ways to Raise Your Consciousness 1. Meditate The best way to tune into your higher self is to quiet the mind.
Become aware of the spaces between the words you speak and think. Watch your thoughts like birds fl ying through the sky. Within

ur planet is evolving each and every day. As part of this evolution, people are raising their consciousness, We are beginning to understand that we are much greater and
the stillness lies the truth. It is here that you will reconnect and strengthen your relationship with your higher self. Meditate for a minimum of 5-15 minutes daily. This can include focused breath- ing, following guided meditations, or simply concentrating on an image, word, or mantra.
2. Be Mindful of Your Guidance System Your emotions are your guidance system. How you feel will
indicate whether you are connected to your true self or disconnect- ed. Build a relationship with your guidance system. What are your emotions telling you? Is your intuition or gut-feeling giving you a message? What do you feel in your body when you speak negative- ly, worry, gossip, or get angry? Our emotions are not random; they are here for a reason. Be aware of how your physical body responds to your thoughts and make feeling good your top priority. Reach for better-feeling thoughts and emotions to fi nd relief and to bring your- self back into alignment.
3. Choose Consciously What you focus on expands. If you want to become more con-
scious, choose to surround yourself with conscious people, books, music, and food… like-energy attracts like-energy. Pay attention to what you are inputting into your reality (radio, TV, news, gossip). The more time you spend focusing on and experiencing what you desire, the more familiar it will become to you.
4. Change Your Perceptions
Change the way you look at things. Focus on solutions instead of problems and see challenges as opportunities for growth. Every- one will experience challenges, some much greater than others. By learning to focus on solutions and see problems as opportunities in disguise, the amount of suffering experienced will decrease. You will control the level of effect that the situation has on your overall well-being. If you experience diffi culties with this, you may benefi t from a coach to assist you in the process. Each moment gives you the opportunity to decide how you
want to be. Awaken to your true self and connect to your unlimited potential. You are much greater and wiser than you appear to be. Begin today to learn how to utilize this wisdom and connect with the joy within yourself that can never be lost or taken.
