The modernised IL76 allows us “to bring the airport closer to the client” instead of trucking cargo across Europe or paying for the bigger AN124. The new version also comes with lower noise emission. This is important, because in today’s freight forwarding business you can only qualify for bigger projects if you can prove you are taking the environmental aspect seriously. We can present the IL76 to our customers as a viable option also in terms of the environmental impact. Compared to the earlier version, the modernised IL76 really tiptoes into and out of airports.
