The AquaBurn 450 has hearth bar technol- ogy which allows incineration from above and below, ensuring all that will remain is a clean sterile ash. Once the incinerator has been loaded, a burn programme is selected and the incinerator can be left unattended until the fi sh waste is reduced to ash. The AquaBurn 450 is designed to use
the inherent fuel properties within the an- imal fat to aid combustion. Fat can be an issue for some machines but not for the AquaBurn 450, as the robust solid mono- lithic cast refractory lining means that
the fats, oils and greases from the marine and aquaculture waste cannot penetrate the lining, this prevents the clogging and cracking that can happen on brick-lined machines. The Waste Spectrum range is designed and engineered so there are no bricks and therefore no gaps to al- low passage for fat, grease and oils, thus preventing clogging and improving the burn rate.
