Welcome to the April edition of Peebles Life.
This year is racing by and it seems amazing that we are already in spring, and heading towards Easter! We have another packed edition of the magazine, I don’t often write the introduction, but doing so reminded me what an active town we live in, it seems that there is always something going on, and this month we showcase a number of the better known events.
We have an article on this years Shakespeare at Traquair, now in its 19th year, and one of the top outdoor performances in Scotland. This year’s production is The Comedy of Errors, and I for one will be there to watch.
April also sees the Peebles Rugby Sevens, probably the most important sporting event of the year in Peebles (with the exception of Peebles County Cricket Club playing at home!) The Sevens always delivers exciting sport, and is a great family day out.

The Peebles Portrait is of well know local artist and gallery owner Moy Mackay.
Continuing the art theme we have an article on Tweed Art and the importance of choosing the correct picture.
