NLTRA on Receiving the Show Your Stuff Grant!


Riding Association was the success- ful recipient of a 2013 “Show Your Stuff” Grant from OnTRA. NLTRA used this grant to hire an EC coach to coordinate a series of activities to introduce the equestrian sport through pony camps. A total of 5 new riders were enrolled in their program! in the North Eastern Ontario Recreation Association (NeORA) Educational Forum and Tradeshow this year where Program Coordinator Jo-Anne Chevalier did a presentation on equestrian sport and therapeutic riding. In addition to this event, NLTRA also participated in a pro- duction series called “La serie documen- tiare, Raphael, citoyen du monde” by LP8 Media III Inc. NLTRA nominated two of their volunteers and they were chose to be a part of this television docu- mentary. Congratulations to NLTRA on receiving the “Show Your Stuff” grant from OnTRA and having such an incredibly successful year!! OnTRA is very proud of the work you do and the impact you are making on northern Ontario!
