VE Clubs throughout Ireland.
This year we have a very special project – the Laura Lynn Hospice in the South and Northern Ireland Hospice in the North. These hospices get no inancial support whatsoever rom the National Exchequer
north or south. The care and support they give to the little children and their families is quite extraordinary.
know that our members will
continue to work enthusiastically, because in doing so, they also gain ulfilment. The needs of our
communities, and how we respond to these needs may have changed over the decades, but the essentials have remained the same – the way we meet with each other and plan what we can do together, while enjoying friendship and un, on our shared journey, in
supporting each other and our communities. We have many members who
are widows, who could be living very lonely lives, but within our Clubs they know that cannot happen. Women are collegiate by nature and we all look out for each other. When you join Inner Wheel you become a member of a worldwide family.
This bond creates an instant sense of belonging and what makes our work so enjoyable is the essential ingredient of friendship.
