ROTARY YOUNG PEOPLES DRIVER AWARENESS PROGRAMME


Now nearing the end of its 7th.year this programme organised by the Rotary Club of Wexford in conjunction with Wexford County Council will see over 10,000 students from all the secondary schools in the County participate. This hard-hitting programme highlights the dangers to road users and targets students around the age of 16.


Presentations from An Garda Siochana, The Wexford Fire Service, A&E Consultant Wexford and Waterford Hospitals, and Mental Health Ireland underpin the message that we can change the carnage on our roads because we care.


It really shows how the experience and network that is Rotary can operate for the benefit of the community. It really does work and the cooperation between Rotary, the schools of the county and our presenters brings a whole raft of other advantages.
