THE SWAN COMES TO THE LAKES OF FERMANAGH


The Townhall was the first port of call for District Governor Verity Swan who arrived at the Rotary Club of Enniskillen in style in Rotarian George Wilson’s Bentley to meet the Chairman of Fermanagh District Council Mr Alex Baird.


The Chairman welcomed DG Verity and the Rotarians and complimented them on the good work they are doing.


Following this the group was given a guided tour of the building including a visit to the Council Chamber.


Rotarian Ivan Kee ably assisted by First Officer Archie Birrell welcomed DG Verity onboard his crusier, accompanied by Assistant Governor Jenny McCrea, President Roy and “first lady” Carole and some fellow Rotarians.


We travelled along the lake to the Killyhevlin Hotel, returning back past Enniskillen Castle for some more photos, then over to The Round O before returning to Ivan and Avril’s home for some hospitality.
