LISBURN PRESENTS CHEQUE TO FIELDS OF LIFE


At the Club Meeting on Friday 23rd October President David Browne presented a cheque for £9000 to support 'Fields of Life'


In February 2012 a team of volunteers from Christ Church in Lisburn travelled to Uganda. Four members of the Rotary Club of Lisburn joined the team as part of the group.


PP Liam McCartney and Rotarian Gary Corkin were part of the team..


The Mission of the group was to help with the building of a school at Apollo Church, which is situated in area north of Kampala.
