The Swan
this dish delivered on all levels and, tasting as good as it looked, the risotto made a great alternative to the way seabass is normally served. Our final choice of mains just had to be the Pie of the Day – steak, red wine and Stilton with chunky chips and a pot of tasty gravy. What could be better on a cold winter’s evening than a gourmet pie?
If you still have room you could be tempted to one of the Swan’s sweets, again taking in a range of great British classics and also lighter offerings for those watching their weight. I can highly recommend the Eaton Mess, just as it should be, moist, sticky and full of fresh strawberries and raspberries. I am also reliably informed that the Banoffee Pie is to
die for, as is the Ice Cream Sundae and the selection of luxury ice creams and sorbets.
Book a table and dine at The Swan soon, you will not be disappointed. They also offer a great traditional Sunday Lunch.
If you have dined at The Swan before and liked it as much as we did, why not also try: The Ewe&Lamb, Bromsgrove. The Kings Head, Worcester. The Leopard, Leamington Spa. The Tivoli, Cheltenham and The Crown & Sandys, Ombersley - All part of the fabulous Scoff & Quaff Group.
