that isn’t a direct part of the actual ex- ercise experience? “When you have nice locker rooms
everyone feels comfortable and that leads to people chatting after their workouts and developing camaraderie with other members,” says Ince. “And once people make friends and connec- tions, they’re more likely to renew or try a class together. Any way that you can help build community amongst members is going to work to your ad- vantage in terms of renewals.”
