Richard Hession ’63 couldn’t make it back for his 50th Class Reunion. His Varsity S sweater and class pin did.
Richard passed away unexpectedly in October. But his wife, Julie, who knew how much he had looked forward to this special reunion, was determined that his presence would be felt. So, she packed up and sent along to the College his letter sweater, his class pin, with which he had promised himself to her in 1963, and his contribution to the Class of 1963 50th Reunion Gift.
Richard’s sweater and pin are on display in the Springfield College Archives and Special Collections.
