FRINGE BOA
Climate Friendly BoA, filming by members of the Youth Advisory Group and more.
Another party, celebrating the end of FringeBoA, will be at the Three Horseshoes on Sunday 8 September. Like last year this will be a busy outdoor musical gig as excitement mounts ahead of the big prize draw.
And another thing …
Film features strongly this year, with Beasts of the Southern Wild on the 3rd, Bash Street filmed in Chippenham on the 4th, a short filmed during the Westbury Gardens party, a film competition in which pairs of youngsters produce a short film on their phones, and young people will also be filming
during the Party at Poulton.
Music has always featured in the Fringe. This year we have traditional English at the Barge, folk in Lamb Yard, Phil King and Mike Scott at the Swan, opera at the Castle, jazz at Sebastien’s Bistro and more. Drama includes Spooky Men’s Chorale, Bootleg Theatre, the Bradfordians, Bath Drama with Re-recording Round the Horne, plus poetry galore. Full programme now on the FringeBoA website.
And it’s (almost) all free. That’s why we have to sell lots of prize draw tickets, and the prizes are seriously worth it (e.g. fancy your teeth whitening for free?).
