JAMIE IS THE TAYLOR BOWLS BOWLER OF THE YEAR. LAST SEASON, THE NORTHAMPTON WEST END ACE REACHED THE SEMI-FINALS OF BOTH THE NATIONAL SINGLES CHAMPIONSHIP AND NATIONAL CHAMPION OF CHAMPIONS, AND THE FINAL OF THE NATIONAL JUNIOR SINGLES CHAMPIONSHIP.


What was the last big success you enjoyed? Winning both Senior and Junior international series this season was a great achievement by both teams and it was great to be a part of them.


What was the last match you lost you thought you should have won? Probably

my National singles this season after 19-11 up, three ends later I had lost 21-19.


The last bowling green you played on? Desborough IBC.


The last opponent you beat? We played county Triples there and beat Matt Pownall 20-13.


The last time you recorded a full house? In a club fours game this season.


When was the last time an umpire told you off? For being late putting my bowls out to be checked.


The last time you bought a new set of


bowls? I have just ordered a new set of Taylor Blaze.


Your last remaining ambition in bowls? To try and make the Commonwealth Games Squad.


The last person you received a telephone call from? My brother.


The last thing you do before you go to bed at night? Brush my teeth.


The last movie you watched? Shreck 3.


The last time you cried? I cried with laughter watching Peter Kay.


The last place you went on holiday? Tenerife.
