1 How did you get into your current job? Management buy-in, November 2005.


2 What’s the best bit about it? Not having a boss.


3 What was your first Saturday job? Picking potatoes. (I’m Irish!)


4 Describe your ideal job? Ski instructor.


5 What motivates you? Fear of failure.


6 What irritates you? Speed cameras.


7 Who do you admire most in business and why? Lord Davies of Abersoch, for lots of reasons including being a Spurs fan


8 What was the last book you read? Vol 13 The Wheel of Time by Robert Jordan.


9 What do you do to relax? I’ve been known to enjoy the odd glass or two of wine (and beer etc)


10 What dreams are you still achieve? Being a good golfer would be a start.


11 What was the last film you saw and what did you think? Wreck it Ralph. Fun.


12 Favourite food and place to eat it? French and anywhere with family and friends.


13 What car do you drive? Porsche Panamera


14 What’s in your car’s CD player at the moment? Lana Del Ray


15 What’s your favourite TV programme old or new? MasterChef Australia

18 Proudest moment? Birth of my children Dominic and Charlotte.


19 And most embarrassing? Loads but putting a colleague’s jacket in a shredding machine was pretty stupid.


20 What advice would you give to someone wanting to be successful in your line of work? Enjoy ambiguity.
