offi ce cleaning

seductive sales for services, outstanding special events, and precise product quality.

While all of those concentrations are excellent ways for you to improve your overall net revenue, there is something that underlies all of those facets: a clean offi ce.

Many business owners forget about or do not research cleaning services for their offi ce – a majority (if not all) of their energy is spent on fi guring out ways to increase their productivity.

There are two specifi c reasons why your clean offi ce has a signifi cant impact on revenue and sales:

• Increased employee morale

It’s no surprise that increased employee morale is one of the most signifi cant factors in a company’s success.

A clean offi ce can impact productivity through morale.

Research has shown that companies which have an offi ce cleaning service provider achieve higher production numbers because of an increased staff morale and organisation.

In other words, not only does the clean offi ce lift their employees’ spirits, but it also encourages them to be more organised within their personal workspace.

The increased organisation is one of the difference-makers between a productive employee and an employee that doesn’t improve your bottom line revenue.

Studies also demonstrate that a clean and organised workplace improves employee retention due in large part to decreased stress. Take a minute to think about how you feel when you come back to your desk and it looks like a bomb just went off – you probably feel stressed, rushed, disorganised.

The same holds true with regard to the entire offi ce space. If you have a clean offi ce, your stress level decreases (and so does your staff’s).

• Increased customer satisfaction If we take Apple as an example. Apple has

infl uenced.

What level of cleanliness should a business expect from its cleaner?

If your business employs the services of a cleaning company and the workplace is not clean, then either the cleaning company need to be on site more often or you need to change cleaning companies!

In house cleaners or contracting out the work?

More and more businesses are outsourcing their cleaning services as it provides them with the fl exibility to increase or reduce the hours

one of the cleanest looking and feeling retail spaces around, and it also has one of the most successful businesses in today’s society.

Think about how you feel when you walk into a clean retail store in comparison to one which has rubbish on view, handprints on the windows and stains on the carpet? Personally, your customers will not feel as comfortable with the overall product or business itself.

In summary, whether you choose to have a clean offi ce for staff purposes or retail reasons, your company’s productivity will be positively

worked by the cleaning operatives. Another benefi t of outsourcing your cleaning services is that the cleaning company provides holiday cover and more often than not, can provide you with one monthly invoice for cleaning and the supply of consumables.

What about our sensitive or classifi ed material?

It is wise to lock all sensitive information away before the cleaning staff arrive on premises. People become complacent and tend to leave their work spaces in a state of organised chaos. Our experience has shown that employees of our clients’ businesses adopt a clean desk policy at the end of every day once we have been engaged for services. If they want their desks cleaned, then put all paperwork away!

After hours or during working hours?

Some of our clients prefer to have their premises cleaned before or after hours and some during offi ce hours. Whatever suits the business of the customer is the answer.

Can a business stipulate that they want a certain sex of cleaner, for example, to clean in an all female offi ce environment?

That is a tricky one. Nobody can discriminate on the grounds of gender, however, if it was an all female environment and the client was concerned about having a male on site, then I would suggest that the cleaning is done out of hours.

What is the mark of a excellent cleaning company?

A company which provides more than just a cleaning service. An excellent cleaning company should be prepared to provide a fi rst-class level of support to both its clients and staff, it should be willing to confi dently undertake a trial period before suggesting a long-term contract with the customer. Another sign of an excellent cleaning company is refl ected in its brand. We work hard here to ensure that our brand and high standards are not diluted in any way and that everyone who comes on board is fully committed to delivering the very best service.
