definitely need support from organizations out there to come in and help as partners and through sponsorships so we can give the kids a future, it s not all about football you know, some kids that play for FC kellie cannot go to school because they can't afford the school fees and some of them have issues with families and so we are helping them outside of football in terms of their education, health, and many other issues … So we definitely need partner- ships and organizations to come in and help.
ASM: I see that you are very passionate about things outside of football which is a common thread I have gotten from this conversation with you. So tell us about Elijah Kellie as a person, the club owner.
Elijah Kellie; I am one of
the Kellie's, I was born in Kono, Sierra Leone but I grew up in the UK and have spent most of my life overseas. The Kellies are very well known in Kono, It’s a very large family. On my mission I can basically say I am carrying on the legacy my parents started
so even after me myself as well the Kellie family name will always be as- sociated with helping the less fortunate. I am based in the UK, I've got my Masters in IT Engi- neering and I am just try- ing to help the best i can, because what i believe in is one of the greatest feeling in the world is knowing that we as indi- viduals can make a dif- ference, it doesn't mat- ter how, as long as you want to help you can make a difference in someone’s life.
ASM: Now What would you like people to know about your club and what make s them standout as the team to watch out for in the fu- ture of Sierra Leone foot- ball .
who will ultimately lead in the future and that is of major concern to me. So basically I will like people to know that the kids out there need help. FC Kellie obviously is a vehicle we are here to help the chil- dren but we can't do it all by ourselves we need help out there in terms of donations in terms of giv- ing us your old equipment, boots, old football equip- ment and if you have books that you would like to donate to the club any- thing that you feel that you might not need just think of a third world country and that there are kids out there that needs help .... So just feel free to get in touch with FC Kellie. We are not just about money we are not here just look- ing for money we are look- ing for anything that will help, or you can come in and form a partnership with us to help the kids out there.
Elijah Kellie: working in the areas like Youth sup- port have been has been my passion and privilege for many years for me. There is a level of frus- tration among the youths in Sierra Leone espe- cially among those who have strong ambitions and skills, among those

ASM: That’s a really noble stance and I have to ap- plaud you for what you are doing i can truly and realy detect an intense passion in your voice in everything that you have said throughout this interview. I want to thank you for tak-
