The NBA Celebrates its best at the 2013 All Star Festivities

The annual NBA All Star fes- tivities which celebrate the ex- ploits of the best in the game took place in Houston Texas USA, from February 15th – 17th the Home base of this publica- tion. Special mention goes to Sudan born Luol Deng of the Chicago Bulls who got his sec- ond All - Star selection.
The festivities which began
with the usual celebrity All- Star Charity match featured world sensation sprinter Usain Bolt of Jamaica whose stature and height actually makes him a perfect fit for the game. Bolt and a collection of other Celebrities had fun giving fans an evening’s worth of entertainment with Bolt even recording a Dunk in the game.
The next day Saturday February 16th saw the most hyped event of the All-Star weekend, The Slam dunk contest. The contest featured Gerald Green (Indiana), Terrence Ross (Toronto), James White (New York), Eric Bledsoe (L.A. Clippers), Jeremy Evans (Utah), and Kenneth Faried (Denver). Jeremy Evans the defending champion and 2012 NBA Slam Dunk title holder had to prove that he could retain his title but with a spectacu- lar hop over a ball boy and a wraparound of the ball be- tween his legs rookie, Terrence Ross dunked the ball so emphatically that the judges which featured Houston greats Hakeem ‘the Dream’ Olajuwon (Nigeria), Yao Ming (China) and Clyde ‘the Glide’ Drexler (USA) had no other choice but to crown the sensational rookie of
