Recaro raises the curtain on new ideas and concepts


Recaro Aircraft Seating is putting its innovative strength on full display at Aircraft Interiors Expo 2013. Among the highlights at the Recaro stand is a new concept for business class which offers innovative answers to current market demands. Visitors can also look forward to other new innovations from Recaro, such as the successful BL3520. This seat model, which has won multiple awards, will be on display in several configurations, tailored to the needs of different markets. The Recaro portfolio at the show is completed by current products for every purpose and all cabins in the economy class – from short-haul to long-haul flights.

The R&D department of Rollon has reached a new milestone in the challenge to gravity by achieving a 30 percent decrease in weight for its telescopic rails. The rails feature in first and business class seats to adjust seats, footrests, armrests, sliding screens and tables. Seats are becoming increasingly complex in order to


ensure passenger comfort and safety. The research by Rollon’s engineering team has focused on the profile of telescopic rails and its thickness, thereby obtaining a reduction of the overall weight, without affecting their resistance and reliability. Rollon will present the new lightweight guides at Aircraft Interiors Expo 2013.
