LAKE-MENDO UNIT NEWS Submitted by Paul Villanueva

The Lake-Mendo Unit has also recently aided BLM in their annual marijuana clean- up campaign. With over 20 head of stock supplied riding

for and

packing. Lake- Mendo members and the work crew met at the Cache Creek Redbud Trail head. Supplies were weighed and distributed between the individuals packing. Supplies were transported in one trip but a second trip was required to furnish enough water for the five day stay with 7 workers. The pack in on Nov. 5th and pack out on Nov. 9th went according to plans and no wrecks or rodeos occurred. It's always a good thing to have no problems and a good showing of BCHC volunteers.
