HM: So errr what hotel did you say Tyrese was staying at? Lol just kidding, but what’s it like working with him, Vin Diesel, Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, Michelle Rodriguez et al? Lol, It was great working with them, they are all very focused but still know how to have fun. After all, we have been employed to look cool, shoot guns and drive cool cars!
HM: Let’s talk on set goss, who’s the prankster, who’s the diva/divo and who’s mad cool in person? I can’t give names of the divas! Everyone has their moments, I’m used to it….I just get on with it. I have nice things to say about everyone.
HM: We’re here because of your shoot with HOF and you’re looking very dapper we must say. Does this look match your personal style day to day? Thank you! I’m nearly always dressed casually and wear trainers, but I jump at the opportunity to mix it up and wear a suit.
HM: How did you find the experience of working with House of Fraser on the photo shoot? The House of Fraser shoot was great. It’s always fun when you get to dress up and wear stylish clothes. Makes me aware of how much work my personal wardrobe needs!
HM: Getting serious for a sec, young British Black actors often get typecast but your filmography is refreshingly diverse. Has it been hard achieving this? I have been enjoying a blessed career. For me acting has always been about inhabiting different people mentally and physically, I will never limit myself to make it easy for people to ‘typecast’ me. I enjoy the challenge.
HM: What one piece of invaluable advice have you been given that you would pass onto an aspiring actor? Keep the passion alive -David Harewood
HM: So after Fast 6, what’s next, any plans outside of acting? Yes! Travelling!
HM: And when you get the time what does a normal day off for David Ajala look like? Any London hotspots you frequent to chillax? I love the South Bank and the National Theatre.
