is still quite small and fortunately we had huge interest from applicants, we created a very good selection and training process for our staff. At the same time we offer people from all age categories a chance to cross-train their skills and to find a job in this struggling economy.

HM: We imagine YoButler means a certain level of trust with access to people’s private life. How do you ensure the safety and security of your clients, their personal belongings but also your butlers? That’s a very good point. We not only run the usual criminal records and background checks, but also have full liability insurance which covers the butlers while doing their job. We offer a safe and fully comprehensive service, not like what you’d usually get with any of the task outsourcing marketplaces.

HM: So what will Yo Butler set the busy Londoner back? It’s a flat rate of £15 an hour, so you don’t need to guess the price. We won’t charge the client for the butler’s travel time to the job, the clock starts ticking from the task handover.

HM: You currently only serve the London area any plans to expand across the UK? Definitely. We’ve had a very busy, but very promising first couple of months. Expanding across the UK and internationally is the next thing on the agenda once we create a strong base in London. London is a big market with a lot of potential on which we’d like to capitalise first.

HM: YoButler is soon to launch a mobile app, how will this revolutionise the service you provide?

The convenience and customer service are two major key points for YoButler. Having a mobile phone app will make it easier for us to become closer to our clients and find out more details about their needs. Also it will allow us to allocate the butlers who are closest

to the client, to speed up the lead time.

HM: So come on, we know London is a melting pot of characters, YoButler must have had it’s fair share of out there requests, care to share? HA, yes you are completely right. There have been quite a few odd / funny requests, but fortunately everything on the legal side. Just recently we had a client asking for a butler to help out at a female only party (not a hen night), and in the notes she asked for a cute guy, who should be willing to take off his top lol.

HM: Lastly, how will YoButler enhance the lives of Londoners, thereby improving the community and creating a zen like city of happy, pay it forward citizens?????

Time is the only commodity you can’t really buy and if you ask yourself how much an hour of your own time is worth, then spending £15 becomes very cheap. Especially as the helper enables you to enjoy your spare time with your friends or family, instead of running those annoying errands and chores. It can also be a nice Christmas gift to help someone during this busy festive period.
