Love is in the air

How to get the best from your wedding photography.....

When planning your big day, there are so many elements that are part of the overall wedding experience, from choosing the right venue to selecting the perfect colour scheme and picking that all-important special dress. One of the elements of the day is, of course, the wedding

photography. Photographs represent all that happened on that special day, so it is essential they are at their best. The most important part of choosing a wedding photographer, besides the quality of their work, is feeling comfortable and at ease with them and the results will speak for themselves. It is important that your photographer understands how you

want to recall your day, whether through natural shots or any group photos you may require. Overall, the photography should be fun and enjoyable and the end result will be photos to treasure forever that bring back all those memories. Having a pre-shoot with your photographer is always a good

idea, just to get to know you a little more and see how you are with the camera. A pre-wedding meeting to discuss plans and any group photos you may like to have is also a good idea to help organise how to use the time most effectively, freeing up time for you to spend with friends and family. Overall, the most important thing to remember is to enjoy it.

Your wedding day will be one of the most special days of your life so enjoy every second of it and the photos will be filled with fantastic memories. Provided by Nicola Pearson, Kent Wedding Photographer of the year 2011.
