SURROUNDED by orchards and fields in Kent’s garden of England, the attractive market town of West Malling offers plenty to see and do.
Just off the A20 and within easy reach of
Maidstone, Tonbridge and Sevenoaks, its bustling High Street and quaint streets have an eclectic mix of buildings.
The story of the town is equally varied, with
many famous people from the Dambusters war heroes to rock n’ roll royals, the Beatles, having left their mark on the area.
The broad High Street is the hub of West Malling and it is an ideal place to start exploring. There is a continental feel with drinks and meals being served at pavement tables outside several of the pubs, restaurants and cafes.
As well as a great selection of places to eat and drink, there are interesting shops to browse, ranging from antiques to quirky gifts and hand- made jewellery. West Malling is certainly the place to look for something that little bit special. There are boutiques selling luxury lingerie, handbags and flowers as well as cooking and home ware.
