A year-round venue that’s a real winner on the event calendar


As an award-winning destination, Royal Windsor Racecourse is something of a ‘best kept secret’ on the meetings and conference circuit


Complete with its own dedicated events and conference management team, the venue’s extensive and highly-flexible hospitality and events facilities are some of the most impressive in the region and it is open for business all year round.


Twenty-five meeting rooms are split across three buildings, there’s plenty of free parking and its location in over 165 acres of beautiful grounds is unparalleled. Add in its easy accessibility in the heart of the Thames Valley – just minutes from Royal Windsor and close to Reading, Slough and Heathrow Airport – and it’s easy to see why it’s already attracting many top brand name companies.


The impressive Grandstand building consists of nine meeting rooms, located over two floors, with panoramic views over the racecourse. Both the Castle Suite and the Royal Suite are capable of seating up to 300 theatre style or dining, and there is plenty of exhibition space available.


In addition, the


Royal Suite can be partitioned to create six individual syndicate areas with a maximum capacity of 24 people each, boardroom style. Smaller suites within the Grandstand are ideal for one-to-one meetings or group sessions.


The Paddock Pavilion is one of the most flexible buildings, with 12 individual rooms ideal for board meetings, smaller meetings and syndicate areas. A removable wall between certain rooms allows them to be opened up to create a larger area and a private bar/lounge is also available.


Perfect for summer events and parties is The Riverbank Pavilion, with its bright and airy atmosphere and huge glass-fronted windows overlooking the parade ring area. Complete with patio and garden seating, it’s a wonderful location for summer events and barbecues and comes complete with its own private parking area. The Pavilion can cater for up to 500 guests or be split into smaller individual suites.


Also available, and beautifully appointed is the Victorian-style Club Room, highly popular for private dining for up to 90 guests and with its own conservatory and bar area which are perfect for hosting a welcome reception.


From October to March, the racecourse extends its facilities still further with a purpose-built marquee which can seat up to 600 people for large events, conferences and celebrations.


Free wi-fi access is available throughout the entire venue – including the grounds – and the conference and events team is on hand to ensure all AV and other equipment is available to make any event a success. An experienced catering team can provide a wide range of menus, from finger buffets and barbecues through to fine dining and gala dinners.

Its exclusive setting, with its own private jetty on the banks of the River Thames, means privacy and exclusivity can be guaranteed and a helicopter landing area ensures VIP guests can be whisked in and out with the minimum of fuss.


The stunning grounds make the venue a haven for teambuilding events and activities too. These can range from dragon boat racing to wine tasting, It’s a Knockout type games and masterchef challenges, as well as more strategic business planning events. The on-site events team can arrange bespoke days to meet the toughest of requirements.
