questions not just from the point of view of it being another celebrity couple to separate. Do people think a child should have the opportunity to experience both parents’ beliefs while young or be left to decide whether to follow either when older? These sorts of considerations are likely to increase as couples from different religions marry and could lead to some difficult decisions and strong feelings. It will be interest- ing to see what approach the courts take, for example, to a religion that is followed by a minority and how that religion reacts if a court decides it is not in a child’s best interests to experience it.
