Youth shine 250cc support – Kyle Bickley, Jack Parkinson-Blackburn and Ben Woodhull


THERE’S undoubtedly some real quality coming through the ranks if this hugely entertaining Youth Championship round is anything to go by. Some 30 youngsters contested 37 heats in little over two hours, geed along by referee Margaret Vardy. After the meeting Scunthorpe Scorpions’ team manager Richard Hollingsworth declared the event an overwhelming success. “It was such a great weekend. We had 33 riders come and practise on Saturday and then to run 37 races in just over two hours today was fantastic. “Neil Vatcher and Phil Morris are doing a great job with the youngsters and everyone knows we do all we can at Scunthorpe with our training track, practices, training schools and amateur meetings.” Read full report in Speedway Star
