Schools Awards The Schools Starpack Packaging Design Awards, now in their 13th year, are designed to encourage students to take up a career in the exciting world of consumer packaging design.
“Packaging is an essential part of the Supply Chain process - it delivers the product to the consumer whoever they be. The sooner people grasp this as an every-day fact, the better for everyone, themanufacturer, the consumer, product safety and sustainability. Packaging will never “go away” – it offers themanufacturer, themarketeer, the consumer and industry somany opportunities and added value benefits. It also ultimately potentially could offer or point to employment roles - either directly in the supplier/manufacturer facilities, or in the plethora of support functions - such as: engineering, supply chain/logistics, procurement, advertising and new product development.
