The Brief – a snapshot Arrrrrghhhh! This is the sound of frustration thatmany elderly people havewhen they have to open child resistant packaging! We know, becausewemake the current push down and turn clic-loc caps. Well, here is the tricky part. Youwill need tomake the pack easier to open by the elderly, but still impossible to open by children. Not so easy. The challenge is to the designers of the future: can you design a newclosure systemor pack thatwill pass theChild resistance test (ISO8317).The Prize –There is a cash prize of £300, but the real prize comes if we feel your idea fully answers the brief andwe feel has a high chance of passing the ISOtest, if this is the casewewill invite you to our company to complete the design andmake your design a reality.
