3) Move! You’ve got a body, now use it!

Start small with 20 minutes a day to develop the habit and keep walk- ing, running or spinning or swimming your way to wellness. Hip-hop it up or do downward dog if that’s more your style. Whatever gets your blood pumping and butt bouncing, do it! You’ll not only feel amazing but you’ll look great too! Not a shabby side effect, eh? Take the family along to make it a bonding time too. The kids might grumble at first but getting up and out is great for everybody. The more natural moving becomes the more it’ll happen!

4) Treat Your Temple Right! Take a look at your diet and see what you’re feeding your body temple.

5) Meditate.

While this sounds intimidating and scary to some, it’s really quite simple: Sit, be still and see what shows up! If playing mood music, buying the right cushion and setting up structure ensures your success, GO FOR IT! Whatever it takes to get you off the computer, away from the phone and on the seat of your soul, then do it! I recommend bookending your day with 20 minutes to start, but again, it’s ALL FABULOUS! This is YOUR time to commune with your heart and hear the voice of spirit so hang out the “Do Not Disturb” sign and surrender!

6) Be YOU!

That’s right, big, bold, beautiful YOU is invited to the party and we’re

yday religion that works for me. and everything else falls into line.” - Lucille Ball

Are you drinking enough water, eat- ing your veggies and making more whole choices? Can you cut down on caffeine and sugar to sleep better at night? Each of us comes with an ideal diet and they’re not one size fits all for sure! Listen to YOUR body and give it more of what moves though you with ease. At the same time, keep a treat or two on hand be- cause life’s short after all. If you find yourself eating to relieve stress or stuff emotions, try exercise instead!

ready to see her shine! Untuck your personality and get it ALL out for the world to see! If someone doesn’t like it, TOO BAD! Stop worrying about what others think and tune into how YOU feel! (See #2 and to find this YOU!) She dances, she prances and runs barefoot through the woods with wings. She’s moon- missed, sun-kissed and a goddess of love and light. She’s night, she’s day, she’s work, she’s play and YES, she IS woman; ready to hear her roar?

7) Make Play Dates!

Just like kids, we women need play dates with our Divine feminine friends! Take an afternoon or evening away from your family, work or obli- gations to grab tea, dinner or simply stroll in the park with a friend or two. Join a book club or find a Meetup of like-minded people to play with! Upon return, you’ll be fueled up and refreshed to give again! Remember what they say on the airplane, “Put on your own oxygen mask first!” Friends are our oxygen and bring us to life!

Here’s to celebrating self-care and looking, feeling and BE-ing beautiful, whole and happy!
