Tattersalls Newmarket Swept away by BroomEx

There’s no doubt sweeping is time-consuming hard work. Whether it’s wet leaves and twigs in the yard, poultry houses, feed stores or just general rubbish and muck, it’s a thoroughly dislikeable task. But it’s also very necessary and BroomEx offers an ideal solution; a range of powerful yet easy to use, walk-behind rotary brooms for all small to medium sweeping and collecting tasks. There are four models; each powered by reliable and efficient Honda or Briggs & Stratton engines. As the engine powers both the rotating brush and the driving wheels, the operator simply steers the unit, in similar fashion to a lawnmower, adjusting the drive speed, brush rotation speed and sweeping angle simply and quickly from the operating position. The powerful rotary action and durable polypropylene bristles make light work of tough jobs like wet leaves, gravel and even snow, either collecting in an optional hopper, or sweepingt to one side in one pass. Brushes come in 0.7m, 0.8m, 1m and 1.2m widths and all BroomEx models are finished in high quality three layer lacquered paintwork similar to the finish used in the automotive industry, for surface protection from corrosion. The perfect answer for efficient and effective sweeping.

Rain, warmth and sunshine have combined to promote rapid grass growth and when it comes to cutting it, the Wessex Country range offers a wide choice, with toppers, finishing and flail mowers designed to work with an ATV/UTV or compact tractor. For the smallholder, private estate owner or groundscare contractor, the Wessex Country AT110 ATV topper is great if you’re on a budget. Designed specifically for the ATV/utility vehicle user, it offers a 1.1m working width and Briggs & Stratton engine. For a formal lawn, the Wessex Country FM finishing mowers feature four wheels, with overlapping rotors eliminating uncut strips. There are four working widths to choose from and the mowers are well suited to compact tractors from 12hp. The belt adjustment is simple as is the cut height and the mower is fully guarded to HSE specifications. Where you have dense vegetation, long grass and woodland rides the Country FL series flail mower is a tough performer, with heavy hammer flails to pulverise tough material, while the rear roller helps to maintain an even cutting height. Suited to compact tractors from 15hp the machine can be used in-line or offset. Just the job for the discerning smallholder.
