This sixth season of the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series
again features the finest road courses and oval tracks in Canada. That’s one of the series’ hallmarks. Here are several more: competitiveness, drama and entertainment.
Great teams, drivers, tracks, sponsors – and fans – collectively make the NASCAR brand renowned both in North America and around the world. The NASCAR Canadian Tire Series has all of those attributes. From the opening of the season at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park in May to its culmination and the crowning of a champion at Kawartha Speedway in September, NASCAR is proud to be a part of motorsports in Canada. As we embark on a new season and add another chapter to the long and storied history of NASCAR in Canada, all of us at NASCAR wish you the best of luck.

anadian Tire has a longstanding history of supporting motorsports and auto racing in Canada dating back almost 30 years. This season promises to be a memorable one for us here at Canadian Tire.
In addition to entering our sixth season as title sponsor of the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series, we were thrilled to open the 2012 season with the first race at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park. This partnership with a legendary racing facility is an important step for- ward in our plan to further expand our participation in Canadian motorsport. In addition to being a venue for world class racing events, this dedicated facility enables Canadian Tire to align our testing and product development efforts with our love of racing. For almost 90 years Canadians have turned to us for our selection of automotive parts, tires, accessories and performance products. We’re committed to continuing to bring the latest and most innovative products to Canadian car owners and enthusiasts. This year’s Canadian Tire Series calendar promises to deliver some spectacular racing.
The NASCAR Canadian Tire Series will make its way across Canada as the drivers seek to claim race wins and valuable championship points. We are incredibly proud of how far professional stock car racing in Canada has come in the past five years and we’re excited to bring the thrill of a day at the track to Canadians from Toronto, Ontario to Vernon, British Columbia to Antigonish, Nova Scotia and everywhere in between this season.
