#97 HUGO VANNINI HOMETOWN: Repentigny, Quebec // BIRTHDATE: December 7, 1974

SPONSORS/MAKE: Vannini Motorsports – Ford Fusion

NOTABLE: With eight starts in 2011, Vannini ended the year in 18th place in the yearend standings, earn- ing a season-best finish of 16th at Delaware Speedway.

QUOTABLE: “The best part of this year is that I don’t have that yellow (rookie) stripe on the back of the car, but I still have a lot to learn. We have the same crew and we’ve seen most of the tracks that we will be run- ning this year, and with a year’s experience, we’ve got a bit of a handle on the setups we’ll need. We’ve got a new motor coming for the oval car, and I think with some luck, we can get a top ten out of one of those races.”

Paolo Pedicelli

#99 STEVE COTE HOMETOWN: Montreal, Quebec // BIRTHDATE: January 24, 1991

SPONSORS/MAKE: White Motorsports / affichage.ca – Chevrolet Impala SS

NOTABLE: Cote earned the St-Eustache Sportsman division championship in 2010 before traveling to California to race Modified cars last year. The NASCAR Canadian Tire Series rookie will team with Derek White this year and plans to run the full 12 race schedule.

QUOTABLE: “I was looking at the K&N Series for this season, but this division is equivalent and more affordable. We’ve done some testing, mainly on ovals, and I think we can score some good results and hopefully come away with the Rookie of the Year title.”
