DLF, which is credited to have established almost the entire Gurgaon -- one of the first MNC hubs of the country, will set up at least three fire sta- tions in this NCR city as also in southern city of Chennai, in the next two months.

The three stations, mainly to safegauard DLF proper- ties, would have about 120 employees and more such stations could follow going forward.

“With the burgeoning urban population, providing secure living spaces should be a top priority. This move is in line with DLF’s philosophy that the life of our residents and those working in DLF prem- ises are our top priority,” DLF Head (Fire Safety) S K Dheri said.

Tata Housing Development Company India’s fastest grow- ing real estate development company recently announced the launch of its first pan- India retail brand – GoodLife, specially designed to bring mall culture to urban localities where there are no malls. Tata Housing will be introduc- ing GoodLife, as a part of its 65 acre integrated township project inBoisar – an upcom- ing suburb in the Thane district in the state of Maharashtra. Speaking on the launch of GoodLife, Mr. Brotin Banerjee, Managing Director, Tata Hous- ing said,“We are very excited to launch our first retail initia- tive GoodLife. It is so much more than a collection of shops with basic infrastructure and a conducive shopping environment. It is planned to fit the locality and geogra- phy into which it is built. It is thoughtfully air-conditioned and mapped for customers to actually spend time rather than rush off. You can safely say Goodlife will become a destination shopping experi- ence in suburban locations like

Goodlife - Boisar is strategically situated as a part of the 65 acre integrated town-

ship, in Boisar East, where more than 2500 families would be the primary consumer. Stationed at the front face of the township, it will attract shoppers and travellers head on as they enter the premises. There’s also the added ad- vantage of being adjacent to Chillar Road. This is a 60-foot wide road that connects to NH8 Highway and is an arterial road interconnecting East and West Boisar. Goodlife Boisar is planned spaciously over an expansive courtyard, bathed in open sky. It will intrinsically be a Ground +1 structure and will be designed aesthetically to enhance the shopping experi- ence with a calm and comfort- able overtone.

GoodLife, will take shape into a hypermarket, which will cater to the daily requirements of the township by offering range of products such as apparel, accessories and services like a bank branch, ATM’s , salon, restaurants, a café and enter- tainment, customized as per the wish lists of the customers.
