Liverpool John Moores University (LJMU) is part of the fabric of the world-famous city of Liverpool. With 2500 staff we are a major employer in the area and the university contributes significantly to the local economy. Many of our graduates find employment and create their homes in and around Liverpool and are success stories in a range of high value sectors, such as bio-science, wealth management, digital and creative, and knowledge sectors. LJMU is a ‘business-engaged’ university which acts as a commercial entity within the region as well as being a significant partner in the Liverpool Science Park. LJMU aims to promote and develop a culture of entrepreneurship by providing incubation opportunities for staff and student enterprises, as well as support for other fledgling enterprises in the city. More than 70 companies have been successfully created from the university in recent years.

Alternatively, you may be interested in our MA Marketing programme, which enables graduates


from any discipline to perform in a variety of marketing and advertising roles. Our MA Personnel and Development degree will enable you to gain both a Masters qualification and the professional status of The Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development (CIPD) Advanced Level 7 Standards. If you are already an experienced professional working in business and management, have an MBA and want to pursue the highest academic qualification to validate your professional competence, our Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA) - which you can study on a part-time basis - may be the course for you at the Liverpool Business School in LJMU.
