Before joining the Brighton Business School most of our lecturers worked in industry, and many continue to practice management as consultants for corporate clients. Brighton Business School is a research- active community with 70 researchers. Research bodies include the Centre for Research on Management and Employment (CROME) and the Centre for Research in Innovation Management (CENTRIM), which is one of the world’s ten leading innovation research groups.

Every student has a personal tutor to support them academically and can use our free English language support service. To build toward your future career success you can develop a personal career plan and get training in the entrepreneurial skills.


Need to improve your academic or language skills?


Our extended masters route allows you to combine a masters degree with an English language course. You can typically obtain a single UK visa to cover both parts. Depending on your current language level you will study English for between two and three months before starting your masters course.


The University of Brighton’s International College offers you a very good academic preparation courses for international students. Successful completion of your pre-masters programme guarantees your progression to a postgraduate degree course.


New Retail Management courses


Most recently the Business School launched a Retail Management MSc and International Retail Management MSc. These new courses have been designed to meet the growing demand for managers with the practical skills and intellectual ability to succeed in this fast-paced and global industry.


Ten £1,000 scholarships for our Logistics and Supply Chain MSc


The University of Brighton is awarding ten scholarships to students starting the Logistics and Supply Chain MSc in autumn 2012. In order to be considered for this scholarship you must have been offered a place (conditional or unconditional) and provide evidence of a rounded personality in no more than 250 words. The application deadline is 31 July 2012.
