Sunshine + School Holidays = PLAYTIME !!!

The weather has turned out nice again! (well, it was nice when this was written, anything could be happening by the time you read this!) Whatever’s happening with the weather today, the Summer holidays are around the corner.
This means the play areas are again being well used and extra care and maintenance is necessary. All that timber product which was installed in recent years might just shrink a little and the fixings will need checking and probably tightening. This is expecially necessary for moving equipment such as swings where loose fixings can wear an enlarged hole through the timber and create problems in the long term. If you need a little maintenance, give us a ring.
Some play areas that looked so good when they were designed and first installed are now showing signs of use and needing additional work to manage the erosion and general wear and tear. This is of course to be expected, the play spaces were built to be used, and the wear and tear is a measure of success. Simple, cost effective enhancements and repairs can make all the difference to the appearance and therefore appeal of a playground.
Of course, the better weather also shows up where existing play equipment is looking a bit old and shabby, perhaps it’s time for a refresh with a little new equipment to add and complement the range already there, again, give us a try! We enjoy enhancing the play space, perhaps modern, perhaps rural or maybe traditional - whatever style you want, we can provide. Sometimes a clean of the surfacing is all that is required to give that lift and a fresh, cared for look.
For those with the funding in place, a new or revamped play space is still a good option. With the encouragement to be more open to design opportunities in playgrounds, it is an ideal time to enjoy the practical possibilities that exist, see ideas that have been tried and tested and be involved in the creation of your own unique play space.

We are always able to modify our initial design, following feedback, as required.

Our extensive service covers all aspects of play provision and we are able to manage projects of all sizes from ‘concept to completion’.
As an independent playground specialist, we are able to supply equipment from any manufacturer. This enables us to search the entire market for the best equipment for your project or specific needs. We also supply all items which are associated with playgrounds including furniture and fencing.
We directly employ our own in house installation teams who are highly experienced and possess a wide range of skills, this provides project flexibility and also guarantees quality workmanship. We are also available to attend sites rapidly if an urgent need arises.
Health and Safety is always a priority and we are proud of our excellent record. All installation personnel have undergone relevant training to ensure talks can be carried out safely. We use security fencing where necessary to ensure the site is secure and where possible we only fit useable parts at the end of the works. We are members of ConstructionLine and are accredited with SMAS and CHAS.
We often use the services of an independent inspector to prepare a report before the finished project is handed over to the client.
We are able to supply and install a full range of playground surfacing from loose fill bark/sand through to tiles and wet pour. We also carry out all associated works including excavations, baseworks and edgings. We would be pleased to advise which surfacing option would best suit your requirements.
As every project we work on is different, we are able to accommodate all needs and will carry out any general construction work which is connected to the main project. This includes footpaths in many different materials, brick walls, drainage, tarmac, block paving, planting and other landscaping works.
