There is always a baby boom during springtime so come on down and meet the baby lambs and wiener piglets, plus the young calves and Easter chicks. Have a go at bottle-feeding the new-born lambs, hop on a tractor for a ride around the grounds, or have a cuddle with other furry farmyard friends.
March 31 Heritage Transport Show and Auction Kent County Showground, Detling
This event is for anyone with an interest in or passion for vintage vehicles. This year the event will feature M&D and EK 60; the Diamond Jubilee of the M&D and East Kent Bus Club with special displays celebrating 50 years of the MGB Roadster; 50 years of the Massey Ferguson 35X and 100 years of AEC. It will also feature guest speakers, trade stands, displays of vintage vehicles as well as an auction.
Learn bushcraft skills with the rangers. Activities include wallet-making, fire building, wild-food foraging and preparation, cooking over an open fire, and whistle making. Suitable for adults and children over seven years old.
APRIL April 2–9 Easter Quest, Walmer Castle
Start off Easter with Walmer Castle's annual family fun trail. 10am – 5pm.
April 6 Easter Bunny Hunt Manor Park Country Park, West Malling
Come along to the park and hunt for the elusive Easter Bunny. Follow the trail clues, solve the puzzle and be rewarded with a prize from the Easter Bunny.
April 6–9 Lambing Weekend, Kent Life, Sandling
During the Easter weekend, visitors will have the opportunity to see Kent Life’s ewes give birth and bottle-feed the older lambs, while a traditional spring fete will be in full swing in the village hall.
