Tourist Profile

to watch you partake in the experience (limited to four), the centre suggests a donation is made for each additional person. For a more rounded experience, you can be a ranger for the day. Here, you will be treated to a guided tour of the site to meet all the cats, including lions, tigers, cheetahs, Snow leopards and Amur leopards, an opportunity to help clean and tend the cats; assist with the cat feeding and to get some really good photos as mementos of the day. A light buffet lunch is included. Special

photography

workshops are also held at the centre. These are aimed at photographers of all levels (beginners to advanced) wishing to learn and take the best pictures of both big and small cats in a relaxed atmosphere. They enable participants to learn the techniques that

professionals have used for years to get their special shots for book covers and magazines. The days are very popular and generate international interest, so it is recommended that you book early. WHF, a UK registered charity, was founded in 2002 by

the Sampson family, who also own Paradise Wildlife Park in Broxbourne, Hertfordshire. The aim was to create a centre that was dedicated to saving endangered species of Big Cat from extinction and is involved in projects as far

a field as Uganda, The Russian Far East and Bangladesh. The charity relies completely on donations, fundraising

and revenue from their exclusive Big Cat experiences and open days where you can marvel at the 40 plus cats from 13 different species.
