Ingenious passion for a variety of additional benefits
At Aircraft Interiors Expo 2012, Bucher is presenting a surprising collection of new interesting concepts and compelling technical solutions that offer more benefits. Examine its products first-hand and talk to its passionate engineers and technicians. Bucher's engineering prowess and strong passion for consistent innovation in the area of product quality and performance will be immediately evident
manufacturer's seat rails. The ATS is certified for a number of other aircraft types beside the B787. Furthermore, it recently acquired the Marking as a Class 1 product. i.e. Bucher is the first manufacturer to fulfil the 93/42 EEC requirements. All in all, the ATS is an efficient and flexible product clearly ready for any challenge in future cabin arrangements that offers real added value, and is a great example of the ingenuity of Bucher's passionate and competent team.
The freshness of the concepts, ideas and product solutions are reflected in the updated look of Bucher's exhibition stand, which will delight visitors as much as the numerous exhibits from its development centres in Zurich, Switzerland and Seattle, USA. At Bucher, ingenious engineering turns great ideas into optimal functioning solutions and physical products that meet or anticipate customer-specific market needs. For example:
The new Air Transport Stretcher ATS Recently certified for the Boeing 787, it is in fact the only currently approved stretcher for this aircraft and arose in collaboration with All Nippon Airways – the B787 Launch Customer. With the B787 seating geometry and seat spacing making available stretchers unsuitable, Bucher specialists set out to create a completely new stretcher system. The ATS product builds on the success of the NGS but takes a new and innovative approach in decisive areas to add numerous benefits. Thus setting up of the ATS is 30% faster. And the range of applications has also broadened: it is now possible to adapt the stretcher to cover a wider range of aircraft types and optimise it to suit the latest seat geometries. Special fittings developed by Bucher facilitate smooth and secure installation in a variety of different
More solutions more added value Of course the ATS is not the only product being presented in Hamburg. Visitors will see, feel and experience a range of other products that make Bucher's passion immediately evident. For example, the company is presenting a full- fledged Galley designed for wide-body aircraft showing a number of new features as well as improvements over previous designs. These enhancements clearly translate into increased operational performance. Bucher’s exhibition stand will make these as well as many other solutions and designs available for visitors to experience first-hand. Visitors will have the opportunity to test for themselves how easy Bucher’s Galley components can be exchanged and maintained. Bucher also has a diverse range of Food Tray Tables that have all been proven to be great solutions on both private and commercial flights. For example, there is the "Mercury" - F/C-Suite table developed with Contour Aerospace for Air China's B777-300ER. The same passion for refined design is evident in other cabin solutions: e.g. the latest version of the innovative “compact motion”» front row video deployment system (with Thales 12.1” Gen IV Monitor); the “pop-up” type IFE-units for B/C; ones for VIP applications or the latest edition of the proven economy or premium-economy video arm that is compatible with the front row seats made by almost any manufacturer. An excellent example of Bucher's leadership in turnkey
production integration is in the area of business class seats. Whether you are looking for a console or any other seat furnishings, the results are always seamless thanks to Bucher’s specialists who possess extensive knowledge and expertise of lightweight construction.
