Welcome to Aircraft Interiors Expo 2012 ‘part of global passenger experience week’
Recognised by the industry as the only global meeting place for the aircraft interiors industry, Aircraft Interiors Expo is the meeting place for airlines and businesses who want to keep up with latest industry trends and developments
The event provides you with a unique opportunity in the interiors calendar to view the latest products, technology and most importantly meet with the people that are driving this industry forward.

This week will see the largest and most comprehensive global passenger experience event ever staged with over 700 companies represented! In addition to the largest aircraft interiors event ever, we are delighted to announce the launch of World Travel Catering & Onboard Services Expo (formerly known as ITCA). This will take place alongside Aircraft Interiors Expo in Hamburg. The event will provide a dedicated business environment for those responsible for catering operations and passenger comfort during travel. The co-location of both events creates a one- stop-shop for the cabin interiors industry. It firmly establishes this week in Hamburg as the most important in the cabin interiors calendar. We are also delighted to announce a new industry
conference; ‘Cabin Innovation and Strategies for the Future’ focussing on strategic issues surrounding cabin innovation, consumer expectations and strategies for profitability within the cabin.
The conference agenda is being led by over 20 of the industry’s most forward thinking individuals from OEMs, interior suppliers and the world’s leading airlines. At the time of going to press over 400 delegates had registered to attend (including over 280 airline registrants from 68 airlines). If you missed out on attending the 2012 conference then make sure you book early in 2013 to avoid disappointment. Now in its 6th year the Crystal Cabin Award will once again
be presented in association with Aircraft Interiors Expo in Hamburg. Trophies are awarded in six different categories: Premium Products; Visionary Concepts; Greener Cabin, Health & Safety; Industrial Design & Technical Concepts, Material and Components and Passenger Comfort. The
winners will be announced at a gala dinner on Tuesday 27 March. The finalists as well as the winners will be presented in the Crystal Cabin Award Gallery in Hall B1 at Aircraft Interiors Expo on the 28 March. At Reed Exhibitions we aware of the social responsibility that comes with delivering world class events. Where possible we like to give something back to the many charities working within our Industry. This year we are proud to be working with Luftfahrt ohne Grenzen/Wings of Help. Wings of Help are a charity dedicated to offering emergency medical services and disaster relief following humanitarian crisis around the globe. Their work involves the transportation of medical supplies and relief to areas affected by natural disasters; it also helps the children and families affected, by providing much needed medical assistance at their time of need. By supporting Wings of Help we hope to be able to make difference to lives of those less fortunate than ourselves and I hope that you will join us and support them in their important work. Wings of Help will have collection boxes located in the main entrances to the event and also be positioned on stand 1C20 in Hall B1 throughout the event for any donations you would like to make. Over the next few days the global passenger experience industry gathers together in Hamburg to see, taste, touch and talk about the future of the industry. I would like to take this opportunity to wish you a successful week and hope that you make the most out of your time here in Hamburg.
