To address the issue of reducing aircraft weight and cost Tods Aerospace will be focussing on their developing range of carbon, glass and aluminium skin composite structural flooring which not only offers weight-saving efficiency, but is lower in cost than traditional alternatives. Tods range of composite flooring panels and engineered seating mounts (plinths) are specified across a diverse range of aircraft from the main airframe manufacturers and are in use with no fewer than 14 international carriers. Lightweight structural flooring is also manufactured for military and civilhelicopters.
