The Total Wellness Package

In an effort to continue to raise the spa’s profile among members and the local community, Body Business is offering educational sessions, as well as supporting information, via its blog, to highlight the benefits and value of regular therapeutic massage sessions.
TAILOR-MADE TREATS
Other clubs have adopted a full-menu approach. For example, at the legendary Houstonian Club, in Houston, Texas, the 17,000-square-foot Trellis Spa offers members and guests an assortment of more than 100 spa treatments in its 21 treatment rooms and other luxurious facilities. To eliminate any poten- tial stress from the decision-making process, the Trellis team has designed both comprehensive packages and custom treatments targeted to the unique needs of specific populations, including women, men, teens, and mothers-to-be.
Prices vary for individual services and packages, with some surprisingly reasonable. Custom packages for bridal parties, business groups, birthdays, anniversaries, or baby showers can also be arranged. For teens, the spa’s future clients, Trellis provides, among other services, a Balance Facial that addresses the troubled teenage complexion ($65).
And, for expectant women, specialized services include Prenatal Massage ($120), a Repair and Restore Vitamin C Facial ($120), and a 60-minute Foot Rescue treatment ($60) that consists of a seawater soak, a cooling foot mask—to reduce swelling and increase circulation—and a moisturizing massage. This superior level of service hasn’t gone unnoticed. For eight years—since Trellis’ inception— it’s earned the prestigious four-star designation from the Forbes Travel Guide. The spa’s secrets to success? Clearly, one is attention to detail, not just with respect to offerings, but also in terms of extra touches: the float pool with a soothing fountain; the relaxation room with a
